1.     Production Line Configuration:

Open Front Press: If your production line consists of an open front press without pillar conflicts directly in the parallel translation path of the manipulator, a swing arm manipulator is recommended. The fast horizontal speed of the swing arm can significantly enhance productivity, especially when employing parallel translation mode.

Press with Pillar Conflicts: If your production line involves a press with pillar conflicts in the direct parallel translation path of the manipulator, an intelligent joint stamping manipulator is suggested. The speed advantage of a swing arm manipulator cannot be fully utilized in this scenario. Additionally, for the same payload, the price of a swing arm manipulator is typically higher than that of a joint stamping manipulator.

2.     Production Line Variation:

Different Tonnage Presses: In a production line with presses of varying tonnages and different heights, where the up-down moving stroke of the swing arm manipulator may not be sufficient, it is advisable to opt for a joint stamping manipulator.
